Area9 Lyceum is pleased to announce it has successfully attained JOSCAR—(Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register) accreditation, used by the aerospace, defense and security industry to prequalify suppliers.JOSCAR, an initiative led by ADS Group, brings together a growing number of prime contractors as registered buyers, as well as registered suppliers by invitation only. As a tool for supplier prequalification and compliance information, JOSCAR reduces the time, cost, resources, and duplication as suppliers provide information to major customers. In turn, it allows organizations to make procurement decisions more quickly and easily.
“Our JOSCAR registration will allow us to expand our work within aerospace, defense, and security,” said Ulrik Juul Christensen, Executive Chairman of Area9 Lyceum.
Area9 Lyceum is already active in these sectors. For example, it recently developed specialized adaptive learning-based training for a defense organization, with a specific focus on educating military and defense personnel on terrorism threats, financial crimes, money laundering, and terrorism finance to improve detention and prevention.
“As an approved supplier, we will be able to expedite our collaboration with more aerospace, defense and security companies that want to explore using Area9 Rhapsode™, our fourth-generation adaptive learning platform, for training and skill development,” Christensen added.
